Terms of Use (EULA) — MemoryBridge

By installing and using MemoryBridge (the "app"), made by VietCodex, you agree to these terms.
1. Licence
You get a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use the app. You may not copy, redistribute, resell or reverse-engineer it.
2. Your content
The photos, recordings and stories you create remain yours. We claim no ownership of them and we do not publish them anywhere. You are responsible for having the right to record and store what you add — in particular, record people with their knowledge and consent.
3. AI features
Transcription, story writing and photo restoration are optional and ask for your consent before the first use. They are provided "as is": automatic transcription can mishear words, so review a story before you treat it as a record of fact. Your content is never used to train any AI model, and the app does not generate synthetic voices or faces of real people.
4. Family circles
If you create or join a family circle, you are responsible for who you invite and for what you choose to share with them. The circle owner can remove members and delete the circle. Do not share other people's private material without their agreement.
5. MemoryBridge Pro (in-app purchase)
- What Pro adds: the printable memory book (PDF). Recording, transcription, the family circle and exporting all of your data are free.
- Payment: handled by Google Play. We never see your card details. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies.
- Restore: use the "Restore purchases" button on the Pro screen after reinstalling or on a new device.
- Refunds & cancellation: handled by Google Play under Google's policies. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory rights are not affected.
6. Availability
The app works without an internet connection for its core features. Optional AI features depend on third-party services and may be unavailable, slow or discontinued. We may update or change features to keep the app working.
7. Your data
How we handle your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can export everything or delete everything from Settings at any time.
8. Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Keep your own backups — use Export my data regularly. To the extent permitted by law, VietCodex is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Age
The app is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in parts of the EU).
10. Changes
We may update these terms; changes are published here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
